Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist license (SLP-CCC required)
- Previous experience in a school-based setting highly valued
- Familiarity with pediatric cases, especially within PreK-2nd grade age group
- Comfort conducting both in-person and teletherapy sessions
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with interdisciplinary teams, students, and families
- Ability to effectively evaluate, develop, and implement therapy goals tailored to student needs
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language assessments and direct therapy to prek-2nd grade students
- Develop individualized treatment plans and progress reports
- Collaborate with teachers and special education staff to support students’ academic success
- Consult with parents and caregivers, offering strategies for progress beyond the classroom
- Maintain organized and accurate documentation according to required standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional input for student interventions
