Take your expertise as a School Psychologist to a vibrant educational community in the Spokane, WA area! This rewarding contract opportunity runs from August 26, 2026, to June 17, 2027, with a consistent 35-hour workweek. You’ll make a direct impact on student learning and well-being—assigned to either an elementary or high school for the entirety of the academic year. Enjoy a stable setting where you’re part of a dedicated campus, with no itinerant travel required, though coverage may extend to multiple buildings within a single campus if needed.

Qualifications:

  • Valid ESA certification in School Psychology within Washington state
  • Background in educational settings, ideally as a School Psychologist or in a similar role within public schools
  • Successful completion of a fingerprint background check
  • Experience implementing BIPs, AIPs, conducting FBAs, and using ABA and Discrete Trial Training highly desirable

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as assessment coordinator, completing approximately 50-60 evaluations annually
  • Coordinate and conduct formal psychoeducational assessments and prepare comprehensive reports for the special education team
  • Develop and implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), Academic Intervention Plans (AIPs), and Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
  • Apply data-driven instructional strategies based on ABA and Discrete Trial Teaching principles
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
