Step into a rewarding role supporting student communication with your expertise as a bilingual assessor. This contract opportunity is ideal for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist with the CCC credential, eager to make a meaningful difference in schools on an as-needed, on-call basis.

You’ll play a vital part in assessing and supporting the needs of three students before September 10, ensuring timely and accurate evaluations to guide their academic and social success. Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Proven experience as a bilingual assessor, with proficiency in administering assessments in English and a second language
  • Prior experience working in school settings preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work flexible, on-call hours as assessment needs arise

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive, culturally appropriate speech and language assessments for students referred by school teams
  • Complete initial evaluations for three students prior to September 10
  • Prepare detailed, timely reports outlining assessment findings and recommendations
  • Collaborate effectively with educational staff and families to support student development
  • Maintain all necessary documentation in compliance with state and district requirements
