Diagnostician Special Education Teacher | Red Oak, Texas

Full-time roles are available across three positions, each responsible for a single campus with an elementary caseload. Your expertise will help shape student success by guiding assessments and implementing intervention plans tailored to each child’s needs.

Key qualifications:

• Hold a valid Texas Educational Diagnostician certification
• Demonstrated experience in conducting formal assessments and interpreting psychoeducational results
• Strong understanding of federal and state special education regulations, including IDEA
• Skilled in creating comprehensive evaluation reports and participating in ARD/IEP meetings
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to liaise effectively with students, families, and educators
• Previous experience with elementary-level students preferred

Core responsibilities:

• Administer comprehensive evaluations and interpret results to identify students’ strengths and needs
• Collaborate with educators, related service professionals, and family members to support student intervention plans
• Lead and participate in ARD/IEP meetings as the diagnostic expert for your assigned campus
• Prepare compliant and actionable evaluation reports in a timely manner
• Monitor progress, reevaluate as necessary, and provide ongoing support to school staff for successful student outcomes
• Uphold compliance with all state and federal guidelines, as well as campus policies
