Special Education Teacher | Commerce, Texas

Qualifications:

• Active Special Education Teacher certification in Texas
• Experience in developing and implementing IEPs

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and support to K-12 students in accordance with IEPs
• Develop, adapt, and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with student abilities and needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and related service providers
• Monitor, assess, and document student progress, making adjustments as needed
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and productive classroom environment
• Encourage student participation, independence, and personal growth

This full-time contract position consists of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, offering consistency for both educator and students.
