Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week (onsite)
Job Description:
An excellent opportunity is available for Special Education Teachers supporting elementary students in Greenville, Texas. Various positions are available across multiple elementary assignments, with each teacher assigned to one school. Openings include Structured Learning, Functional, and Early Childhood settings, providing opportunities to support students with a variety of learning and developmental needs. These positions are ideal for dedicated educators who are passionate about creating structured, supportive learning environments and helping students reach their individual goals.
Qualifications:
- Active Texas Special Education teaching certification
- Experience working with elementary students in special education settings
- Experience with structured learning, functional, or early childhood programs preferred
- Strong classroom management and instructional skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction based on student IEPs and individual learning needs
- Support students in structured learning, functional, or early childhood settings
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to support student progress
- Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and related service providers
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate special education documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and other multidisciplinary team meetings as needed
