School Physical Therapist | Jersey City, New Jersey

Step into a rewarding full-time contract role as a Physical Therapist within a dynamic school environment, serving K-12 students across multiple locations near Jersey City, NJ. This district-wide opportunity spans the entire academic year, from September 4, 2026, through June 25, 2027, with a consistent weekday schedule of 8:30AM–3:15PM. You’ll support students’ physical abilities and help them access their learning environment, working alongside dedicated educational teams.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Valid Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey
• Experience providing PT services in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
• Willingness to travel between multiple school sites within the district
• Ability to meet all NJ pre-employment requirements, including TB test, physical exam, and fingerprinting for both the agency and the district
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with teachers, staff, and families
• Comfortable participating in a virtual interview via Zoom

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group PT interventions to students K-12, addressing a variety of needs and IEP goals
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor student progress
• Consult with teachers, families, and other specialists to support student outcomes
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation, including progress reports and IEP records
• Participate in IEP meetings, team discussions, and professional development activities throughout the academic year
