School-Based Physical Therapist - Edison, NJ

Step into a rewarding, contract-based opportunity providing comprehensive physical therapy services to students across several schools in a vibrant, supportive district. This full-time role runs from September 4, 2026, through June 25, 2027, and offers the chance to positively impact K-12 students district-wide. You'll work 35 hours per week, from 8:30AM to 3:15PM, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and serving a diverse student population in multiple settings.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active, valid New Jersey physical therapy license
• Experience delivering PT services in school settings, preferably K-12
• Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs and documenting progress
• Ability to travel between multiple campuses as needed within the district
• Completion of all required New Jersey state clearances, including TB test, physical examination, and fingerprinting for relevant agencies
• Comfortable participating in a Zoom interview as part of the selection process

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative physical therapy services to students in accordance with IEPs
• Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and parents to support student goals
• Conduct assessments and contribute to multidisciplinary team evaluations
• Maintain thorough records and progress notes following district and legal requirements
• Adapt interventions for a variety of learning environments and student needs
