Step into a vital school-based role supporting students as a contract Occupational Therapist. This position is designed for a caring, collaborative professional eager to make an impact across two welcoming school communities near Boulder, Colorado. With a balanced caseload and the opportunity to work onsite, you’ll engage with students from August 17, 2026, through May 21, 2027, positively influencing their development and daily lives.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active Occupational Therapist license required
  • Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license in possession or currently in process (must provide documentation with your application)
  • At least one year of hands-on classroom experience
  • Comfortable managing a caseload of approximately 50 students, split between two vibrant school settings
  • Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively within interdisciplinary school teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services for students with varied needs, promoting participation and success in educational environments
  • Evaluate students’ motor, sensory, self-care, and adaptive skills to develop targeted intervention plans
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other service providers to ensure coordinated support
  • Support Individualized Education Program (IEP) planning, documentation, and progress monitoring
  • Serve as an onsite resource for staff, offering guidance and in-service trainings as needed
