Key Qualifications:

  • Valid and current Illinois licensure and certification for teaching students with visual impairments
  • CTE endorsement required
  • Demonstrated school-based experience with visually impaired students
  • Expertise in both functional vision assessments and media assessments
  • Strong observational skills and the ability to provide insightful classroom feedback
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities
  • Comfortable working independently for evaluation-only assignments
  • Willingness to participate in a 30-minute interview as part of the selection process
  • On-site work required; remote options (VOCO) are not available
