School Physical Therapist | Bensalem, Pennsylvania

An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Physical Therapist with experience in school settings. This contract position covers the 2026-2027 academic year and extends into the summer, serving students primarily in the Newtown area. One dedicated day will be spent supporting students in the Morrisville/Pennsbury area, providing impactful interventions across diverse school communities.

You’ll work 3-4 days per week, contributing approximately 21-28 hours weekly. The role is strictly in-person, offering the chance to build meaningful connections with students, educators, and families. Preferred candidates have at least one year of preschool experience and hold an active state license.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
• Active, valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• At least one year of direct preschool PT experience
• Experience in schools or educational settings
• Must fulfill all current state certification requirements for school-based PTs
• Ability to travel between specified areas for caseload coverage
• Energetic, compassionate, and professional demeanor

Position Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality physical therapy services to students, ages preschool through school-age, following Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success
• Maintain timely and compliant records and documentation
• Support students in a primarily Newtown-based caseload, with a day in the Morrisville/Pennsbury location
• Participate in team meetings, evaluations, and parent conferences as required
