Make a difference every day supporting students in middle and high school as a full-time Speech Language Pathologist. This contract opportunity is an excellent match for someone who is skilled in pediatric speech-language therapy and passionate about working within educational settings. You’ll work collaboratively with educators and families to help students reach their communication goals, utilizing a variety of in-person and teletherapy methods.

Qualifications:

  • Hold a valid Maine SLP license.
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or be eligible for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
  • Experience with pediatric or school-based speech-language therapy preferred.
  • Proficiency with teletherapy platforms (if applicable).
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to students in middle and high school settings.
  • Evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans to address articulation, language, fluency, and voice disorders.
  • Participate as a member of the educational team in meetings and IEP development.
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate updates with staff and families.
  • Utilize both in-person and remote therapy modalities as appropriate.
  • Offer guidance to teachers and support staff in best practices to support student communication needs.
