Key Qualifications:

  • Certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience in administering and interpreting a range of psychological and educational assessments
  • Familiarity with MARSE, IDEA, and Section 504 regulations
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and crisis intervention skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and determine eligibility under MARSE and Section 504 categories (SLD, OHI, EI, CI, ASD, etc.)
  • Present assessment findings and eligibility decisions to parents and staff
  • Support IEP development, accommodations, and behavioral plans
  • Intervene during crisis situations (including threat and suicide assessments)
  • Participate in problem-solving teams to implement classroom-based strategies
  • Collaborate on program planning and contribute to data-driven decision-making
  • Engage in ongoing professional development as required
