As one of two SLPs or SLPAs needed August 26–June 8th, you’ll support K–5th grade students in specialized self-contained classrooms designed for significant language needs, including those with ASD or profound language delays. Some placements may also include preschoolers aged 3–5 years. This opportunity is particularly valuable for professionals seeking experience with AAC systems including Proloquo2Go, LAMP, and Touch Chat.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Valid SLP or SLPA credentials; CCC or CFY eligible
  • School-based, pediatric, or healthcare/relevant experience
  • Skill working with moderate-to-severe language disorders and ASD
  • Comfort with AAC devices or willingness to train
  • Ability to supervise CF or SLPA is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized speech/language therapy to K–5 or preschool students
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations, including triennial assessments
  • Document progress with SOAP notes and manage Medicaid billing
  • Participate in IEP meetings and create targeted treatment plans
  • Travel between school sites within a close radius
