Embark on an exciting contract assignment as a School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2026/2027 academic year with a full-time schedule of 32.5 hours per week. This impactful role will provide speech and language services to middle and high school students near Danbury, CT, helping them achieve their communication goals and supporting their academic success.

Qualifications:

  • Active Connecticut SLP license required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Experience working in educational settings with adolescents preferred
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with students, teachers, and families
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy to middle and high school students as outlined in their IEPs
  • Conduct comprehensive speech/language assessments and document progress
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student learning
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert recommendations
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school policies
  • Serve as a resource for staff and families regarding communication disorders
