Pharmacist - Abbotsford, Wisconsin

A northern central Wisconsin opportunity awaits a skilled pharmacist to contribute expertise in a small, 40-bed hospital setting. This contract role offers a dynamic work environment supporting inpatient and outpatient pharmacy services with a patient census typically ranging from 30 to 40.

Schedule Options:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week, day shift (7 a.m. to 5 p.m.) with rotating weekends
• Alternatively, a block schedule of 7 days on, 7 days off on day shift is considered

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple concurrent pharmacy operations in a central inpatient setting, including verification of EPIC medication orders, technician supervision, and responding to pharmacist inquiries
• Dispense and manage inpatient and outpatient IV medications, unit dose medications, and outpatient chemotherapy
• Support diverse patient care areas including Med/Surg, OB/GYN, ICU, emergency department, and outpatient oncology and surgery

Desired Experience:

• Licensed Pharmacist with experience in inpatient and outpatient pharmacy services
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system preferred
• Ability to efficiently multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced hospital pharmacy environment
