Emergency Room Immunizing Pharmacist | Stevens Point, Wisconsin

An opportunity is available for an experienced inpatient pharmacist to support a busy hospital setting starting April 22nd for a 13-week contract. This role involves working primarily four 10-hour day shifts from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., with rotating weekends and occasional evening shifts as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage inpatient medication distribution and ensure the accuracy and safety of all prescriptions.
• Collaborate closely with the emergency room team and hospital staff to optimize patient care.
• Serve as a Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) when required, overseeing pharmacy operations and compliance.
• Provide immunization services as needed.
• Contribute to medication therapy management and clinical decision-making within the hospital setting.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Licensed pharmacist with inpatient hospital experience.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced emergency room and inpatient environment.
• Experience as an immunizing pharmacist and knowledge of hospital pharmacy protocols.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to handle rotating shifts and occasional evening coverage.
