A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled pharmacist to support a small 40-bed hospital in Northern Central Wisconsin. This role involves managing a busy inpatient pharmacy, ensuring timely and accurate medication distribution across various departments including Med/Surg, OB/GYN, ICU, ED, and outpatient oncology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders using EPIC, ensuring accuracy and safety.
• Supervise technician work and respond promptly to pharmacist calls.
• Prepare and dispense inpatient and outpatient IVs, unit dose medications, and outpatient chemotherapy.
• Support inpatient census averaging 30-40 patients with diverse needs.
• Collaborate with clinical teams in surgery, emergency, and specialty care units.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Licensed Pharmacist with experience in hospital pharmacy operations.
• Proficient with EPIC systems and electronic medication order verification.
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities and delivering high-quality patient care.
• Experience with inpatient and outpatient chemotherapy preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.

Location: Owen, Wisconsin

Schedule:

• Options include four 10-hour shifts per week (7:00 am to 5:00 pm) with rotating weekends.
• Alternatively, a blocked schedule of seven days on, seven days off during day shifts is available.

This contract position offers a great chance to gain experience in a dynamic setting while contributing to critical patient care. Immediate start and a 13+ week assignment.
