Bring your expertise as a School Psychologist to an engaging elementary school setting with a contract position ideally suited for passionate professionals! Located near Spokane, WA, this opportunity runs from August 20, 2026, through June 16, 2026, and offers a steady, full-time schedule of 7 hours daily, with start and end times varying by building (between 7:20 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.).

Immerse yourself in a role that balances meaningful assessment work with occasional student counseling. You'll be focused primarily on conducting and evaluating assessments, developing Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA), Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), and other support strategies. Collaboration is key—regularly reporting your findings and coordinating with the Special Education Team to optimize student support across multiple elementary school sites.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid Washington State ESA School Psychologist Certificate required
  • Must possess and maintain a valid Washington State Driver License
  • Experience in elementary school settings preferred
  • Strong skills in performing evaluations, assessments, and creating behavioral support plans
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and educational teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct student evaluations and assessments
  • Develop and implement FBA’s, BIPs, and individualized support plans
  • Provide direct counseling services as needed
  • Collaborate with Special Education Team and participate in multidisciplinary meetings
  • Document and report student progress and findings clearly and efficiently
