Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Albuquerque, New Mexico

Step into a rewarding SLP opportunity supporting elementary and middle school students in a vibrant educational setting near Albuquerque, NM! This contract role is available immediately and extends through May 28th, offering a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours each week. Work with a caseload of 40-50 students, making a real impact in their educational journey.

You’ll provide speech-language services across a diverse, school-based caseload, working collaboratively within a dynamic support team. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced speech-language pathologists and strong Clinical Fellows (CFY) eager to develop their skills with pediatric populations.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Current New Mexico License in Speech-Language Pathology from the New Mexico Speech Language Pathology and Audiology Board
• New Mexico License issued by the PED Ancillary and Support Services
• Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
• Experience with elementary and/or middle school students preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students
• Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapies targeting speech, language, and communication needs
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to foster student progress
• Document all clinical activities thoroughly and maintain compliance with school, state, and federal requirements
