Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting student communication needs across several schools in the Grand Prairie, TX area. This position is ideal for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and adolescents within an educational setting. The assignment spans from September 1, 2026, through May 20, 2027, offering a consistent full-time schedule—37.5 hours per week—without daily campus transitions.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active Texas SLPA licensure is required and must remain up to date throughout the contract duration.
  • Previous experience within educational settings preferred, with strong collaboration skills to work alongside speech pathologists and school staff.
  • Demonstrated ability to support students at elementary, middle, and high school levels.
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
  • Completion of all time-sensitive credentialing requirements, including fingerprints and drug screening, prior to the start date.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language pathology services to students assigned each day across multiple campuses, supporting individualized education plans and communication goals.
  • Implement therapy activities as directed by supervising speech-language pathologists.
  • Maintain accurate records and student progress notes, ensuring timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote best practices in supporting student learning.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development as needed.
