School Speech Language Pathologist - Falls Church, VA

Step into an impactful role supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming 26/27 school year. Two full-time opportunities are available, commencing in August, with a schedule of 37.5 hours per week. Your expertise will help create an inclusive and supportive educational environment as you work closely with young learners, staff, and families.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist state licensure or eligibility
• Open to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) candidates
• Experience or strong interest in school-based and/or pediatric settings
• Knowledge of evidence-based assessment and intervention techniques
• Comfort with documentation and collaborating in a school multidisciplinary setting
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide speech, language, and communication therapy services to elementary-aged students
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop detailed Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to support student progress
• Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with state and school requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing program development
• Deliver engaging, outcome-oriented interventions tailored to student needs
