Step into an impactful role supporting students’ communication and language growth in a vibrant, collaborative school environment near New Bedford, MA. As a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you'll provide essential therapy services to a pediatric caseload, focusing on helping students reach their fullest potential. This contract opportunity begins in early September and offers a consistent weekday schedule throughout the academic year.

Qualifications:

  • Active Massachusetts SLP license required
  • DESE (Department of Elementary and Secondary Education) Licensure mandatory
  • SLP-CCC credentials preferred, with experience in school-based or pediatric settings
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to adapt therapy approaches to diverse student needs and developmental levels

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess students to identify speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with educational goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation and adhere to confidentiality standards
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary team
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance service delivery
