Step into a rewarding contract opportunity where your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist helps young learners thrive in an educational setting. This position offers 32 hours per week working directly with students, supporting their growth and communication development. Whether you hold your Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or are completing your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), your unique background will be valued here.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active SLP license (Ohio) or eligibility to obtain
  • Experience or strong interest working with school-aged children (pediatrics)
  • Candidates with CCC or those pursuing CFY are both encouraged
  • Solid knowledge of evidence-based therapy practices
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities with students, families, and school staff
  • Ability to adapt interventions to support diverse needs within the school environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop individualized education programs (IEPs) and targeted treatment plans for students
  • Deliver direct therapy sessions (individual and group) in accordance with students’ IEP goals
  • Collaborate and consult with teachers, support staff, and parents to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of services, evaluations, and outcomes
  • Participate in relevant school meetings, team conferences, and professional development opportunities
