Job Description

Make a meaningful impact in the educational community by providing vital psychological services to students for the full academic year. This full-time contract role offers you the opportunity to collaborate with educators and families, supporting student success through assessment, counseling, and intervention. You'll work in a dynamic school setting, helping to create a positive, inclusive environment where every student can thrive.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid and current School Psychologist certification/licensure (state requirements must be met)
  • Graduate degree (EdS, MA, or PhD) in School Psychology or related field
  • Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations and interpreting results
  • Strong knowledge of IEP process and special education law
  • Ability to provide direct counseling and crisis intervention services
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Previous experience working in a school environment preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students’ academic, emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, offering recommendations and expertise
  • Provide individual and group counseling to support student growth and well-being
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement effective intervention strategies
  • Offer crisis management, including risk assessments and immediate response to student needs
  • Maintain detailed, confidential records in line with legal and ethical standards
  • Support staff development through consultation and training as needed
