Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting student success by partnering with local schools as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Openings include two full-time SLP roles in the Onondaga area and one part-time SLP position in Cortland County. Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) credential
  • Experience providing therapy in educational or pediatric settings is a plus
  • Ability to build rapport with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability to support a diverse caseload

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and identify students’ speech, language, and communication needs through formal and informal evaluations
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals
  • Deliver therapy sessions one-on-one or in small groups within school environments
  • Maintain accurate documentation, track student progress, and provide regular updates to educators and families
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to integrate therapy strategies into the classroom
  • Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and relevant school initiatives
