Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Staten Island, NY

Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist near Staten Island, NY. This position offers a steady weekday schedule—6 hours per day, Monday through Friday—in a collaborative educational environment. You’ll provide essential speech services across a manageable caseload, conducting 10 sessions per day with an hour reserved at the end for paperwork, planning, or collaboration with staff.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active NY SLP license required
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• TSSLD/TSHH certification
• Previous school-based experience and SLP-CCC credential preferred
• Ability to work independently and within a school team
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language services to students in accordance with IEP goals
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Maintain detailed documentation and progress records
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student success
• Provide expertise in speech and language development to the multidisciplinary team
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to student case discussions
