Qualifications and Experience Needed:
- Valid NY State SLP License
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Required TSSLD or TSHH certification
- Previous experience in a school-based setting or working with children is highly valued
- Holds or eligible for the Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy sessions onsite—10 sessions per day, each carefully planned for student success
- Conduct individualized and group therapy to support diverse communication needs
- Complete documentation, progress reports, and billing during the final hour of the workday
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to create tailored treatment plans and track student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student success stories
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and district requirements
