Assembly Operator II

PROMAN Staffing has partnered with a leading manufacturer in the area.

We are hiring for an Assembly Operator II in Arden, NC

Shift: 1st M-F 7AM-3:30PM
Pay Rate: $22.00/hr

Assembly Operator Summary:

• Assemble, terminate, test and package fiber optic cable assemblies

• Work with fiber optic connectors and cables in a clean room manufacturing environment

• Support production of new and existing optical products while maintaining high-quality standards

• Utilize measuring equipment and inspection techniques to ensure product compliance

• Troubleshoot equipment, support process improvements, and maintain accurate production records

Assembly Operator Responsibilities:

• Polish and test fiber optic cables

• Assemble and package fiber optic connector components

• Terminate single-fiber and multi-fiber cable assemblies

• Operate fiber routing and over-molding equipment as needed

• Support prototype, test and new product introduction (NPI) builds

• Measure components using calipers, gauges and other precision measuring devices

• Inspect products using quality standards, work instructions and technical drawings

Assembly Operator Requirements:

• High school Diploma or GED required

• Ability to distinguish between color-coded fiber optic cables

• Minimum 1 year of assembly manufacturing experience required

• Must be eligible to work under ITAR regulations

• SAP Manufacturing and ISO 9001 experience preferred

• Ability to read blueprints, work instructions and technical drawings
