Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A pharmacy professional is needed to provide essential inpatient support in a hospital setting located in Evanston, IL. This opportunity is a 13-week contract with potential for extension, offering a chance to apply clinical skills in a dynamic medical environment.

Schedule/Hours:

• Rotating first and second shifts
• 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM and 2:30 PM to 10:00 PM
• Rotating weekends

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently within an inpatient hospital
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient medication therapy
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and pharmacy regulations
• Utilize Cerner pharmacy system to document and manage medication orders
• Provide clinical support and guidance on drug therapy decisions

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois pharmacy license required
• Strong inpatient clinical pharmacy experience preferred
• Experience using Cerner pharmacy computer system is a significant plus
• Ability to work effectively on rotating shifts including weekends
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
