Elementary School Occupational Therapist - San Acacia, New Mexico

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Experience working in school-based or elementary settings preferred
• Ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans for children with various needs
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to partner with staff and families
• Flexibility, adaptability, and a proactive approach to addressing student goals
• Commitment to professional ethics, confidentiality, and ongoing professional growth

Your Role Will Include:

• Delivering direct occupational therapy services to elementary-aged students onsite
• Conducting assessments and developing individualized treatment plans
• Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
• Monitoring and documenting progress towards therapy goals
• Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to multi-disciplinary team efforts
• Providing insights and resources to support student engagement and participation in classroom activities
