Social Worker in Fairport, NY

Make a lasting impact supporting students’ well-being and success in a school community. Two dedicated social workers are sought for a full-time assignment spanning the 2026-2027 academic year. These roles are based on-site and will support a vibrant student body, collaborating directly with educators and families to foster a positive, inclusive environment. The assignment may extend until the positions are filled internally, providing an outstanding opportunity to contribute valuable expertise and compassionate care.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Valid New York State School Social Worker (SSW) certification
• Active LMSW or LCSW license (New York)
• Experience in a school setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
• Dedication to supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of students

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to students
• Conduct assessments and design intervention plans for students facing social or emotional challenges
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and external agencies to coordinate services
• Support crisis intervention and conflict resolution efforts
• Develop resources and strategies to strengthen school climate and foster resilience
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
