Recruitment & Office Coordinator - Home Care

Location: Gastonia, Belmont NC area
Job Type: Full-time, In-person
Schedule: Monday to Friday; occasional on-call participation as assigned
Bonus: Monthly bonus eligibility


Job Summary

This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in recruiting, HR, staffing, healthcare administration, home care, scheduling, customer service, or office coordination.

In this role, you will help recruit and onboard caregivers, maintain accurate employee records, support caregiver retention, assist with office operations, and help ensure our team is organized, responsive, and ready to serve clients.

This position supports one office region and works closely with Operations, Scheduling, Client Care, Recruiting/Retention, and payroll/billing support teams.

What You’ll Do

  • Source, screen, and communicate with caregiver applicants
  • Schedule interviews and assist with applicant evaluation and hiring follow-up
  • Help manage the caregiver candidate pipeline from application through onboarding
  • Coordinate new-hire paperwork, background checks, E-Verify, reference checks, certifications, and required onboarding steps
  • Maintain caregiver and employee files according to company and compliance standards
  • Support caregiver training, continuing education tracking, recognition, and retention efforts
  • Conduct follow-up communication with new caregivers during their first 90 days
  • Partner with Scheduling Managers to support caregiver availability and staffing needs
  • Monitor and communicate scheduling/documentation issues such as missed clock-ins, incomplete shifts, task logs, or unsigned care logs
  • Assist with payroll questions, payroll/billing data verification, and shift documentation support
  • Maintain accurate notes and records in eRSP and other company systems
  • Answer phones, assist callers, and provide professional support to applicants, caregivers, clients, families, and office staff


What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Two or more years of experience in recruiting, HR, staffing, healthcare, home care, office administration, customer service, or a service-related business preferred
  • Experience with hiring, onboarding, employee records, HR administration, scheduling, payroll support, or compliance tracking preferred
  • Strong phone, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organization, attention to detail, and follow-through
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy office environment
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Excel, databases, and electronic recordkeeping systems
  • Ability to learn eRSP and other home care operating systems
  • Professional, dependable, positive, and team-oriented
  • Able to maintain confidentiality with employee, caregiver, client, and company information
  • Must be able to work in person in the Mooresville / Lake Norman Region office
  • Must be able to complete required background checks for a healthcare/home care work environment
