Job Type: Part-Time

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Pay: $20.00–$25.00 per hour (based on experience)

Northeast Adult Day Care is looking for a caring, creative, and enthusiastic Activity Coordinator to enrich the lives of older adults, including individuals living with dementia, Parkinson's disease, stroke, and other physical or cognitive challenges.

What You'll Do

• Lead fun and meaningful daily activities for older adults
• Plan games, crafts, music, exercise, brain fitness, trivia, and discussion groups
• Encourage participation while adapting activities to different abilities
• Develop monthly activity calendars and special events
• Celebrate birthdays, holidays, and themed programs
• Assist with community outings and entertainment
• Document participation and activity notes
• Help create a warm, welcoming environment for participants and families
• Work closely with nursing, therapy, and social services staff

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience in activities, recreation, healthcare, adult day services, memory care, assisted living, senior centers, or a related field preferred
• Experience working with individuals living with dementia is highly desirable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer skills
