Minimum 1+ years Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) experience and CNA certificate required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide dedicated 1:1 care for a medically fragile student in a school setting. The assignment runs from August 27th through June 11th. This position offers consistent weekday hours, ideal for those seeking work/life balance.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 7:15 AM to 2:30 PM

Key Qualifications:

  • Active CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant or Certified Nurse Assistant)
  • Prior experience supporting individuals with hygiene and feeding needs
  • Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a school environment
  • Professionalism, reliability, and excellent communication skills
  • Female candidates are strongly preferred for this specific assignment

Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 care for a medically fragile student, focusing on hygiene, activities of daily living, and feeding assistance
  • Maintain a safe, sanitary, and supportive environment at all times
  • Monitor student’s comfort and promptly report any concerns to supervising staff
  • Document care provided according to established protocols
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, school nurses, and other staff as needed
  • Participate in onsite interviews as part of the selection process
