Step into a rewarding contract position supporting students’ communication and learning needs in a dynamic school setting near Jersey City, NJ. This part-time opportunity offers a consistent schedule—working 6 hours a day, 12 hours per week—making it an excellent choice for Speech-Language Pathologists seeking work-life balance. Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required.
  • Previous experience in pediatric or school-based settings is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of current speech therapy assessment tools and intervention techniques.
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement IEPs, tracking student progress and modifying plans as needed.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments.
  • Develop and facilitate IEP-driven therapy services for students with varying communication needs.
  • Work closely with educators, administrators, and families to create supportive learning environments.
  • Document student progress and maintain compliance with all regulatory and school policies.
  • Participate in meetings, provide recommendations, and offer support across general and special education settings.
