Step into an impactful role as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist in a contract position supporting elementary students near Fuquay Varina, NC. This assignment runs from now through late May 2027, with full-time hours in a collaborative and supportive educational environment. Work directly with children at a vibrant elementary school, helping them improve communication skills essential for academic and social success.

Qualifications:

  • Active North Carolina SLP license is required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred (Clinical Fellows encouraged to apply)
  • Previous experience in a school setting is highly recommended
  • Skilled in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders in school-aged children

Your Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to a diverse caseload of elementary students, fostering communication development and educational participation
  • Conduct formal and informal assessments, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), document progress, and collaborate with teachers and families
  • Work exclusively onsite at the elementary school (no virtual/VOCO services permitted)
  • Serve as an active participant in multidisciplinary team meetings and school initiatives
  • Provide guidance and consultation to education staff regarding communication needs within the classroom setting
