School LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) - Waltham, Massachusetts

This full-time opportunity is available for the entire 2026–2027 academic year, bringing the chance to partner closely with a full-time RN in a medical complex setting. Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• Active LPN or LVN license in Massachusetts, in good standing
• Previous school nursing or pediatric experience preferred
• Skilled in coordinating care plans for students with complex medical needs
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with a nursing team, educational staff, children, and families
• Strong organizational skills, reliability, and the capacity to maintain confidentiality
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach to nursing

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care and daily health support to students with medical complexities
• Work alongside an RN to ensure comprehensive, seamless care coordination
• Support individualized health plans and emergency action plans
• Administer medications and manage documentation in accordance with school policies
• Offer health education to students and staff as needed
• Respond promptly to illness, injury, and health-related emergencies
