School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Sterling Heights, Michigan

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active SLP license in Michigan (or eligibility to obtain)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong Clinical Fellows will be considered
• Prior school-based experience or strong interest in K-12 educational settings
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently onsite

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct screenings and comprehensive evaluations for students across K-12 grade levels
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing receptive, expressive, and pragmatic language needs
• Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services in alignment with each student’s IEP
• Document progress, maintain records, and prepare necessary reports
• Participate in IEP meetings and school-related activities as required
