Job Description

Make a meaningful impact in an educational setting supporting students’ communication development. This contract opportunity is ideal for Speech-Language Pathologists who are passionate about pediatric therapy within schools. This is a full-time, on-site role, and travel SLPs are encouraged to apply.

You will provide direct speech-language therapy and collaborate with educators and families, facilitating each child’s individual progress. Candidates must demonstrate expertise and a commitment to serving pediatric populations in a school-based environment.

What We’re Seeking:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
  • Current or eligible for Washington State SLP licensure
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) OR Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
  • Experience or strong interest in school-based pediatrics
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Willingness to work on-site in a school environment
  • Open to travel SLPs looking for new experiences

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech-language assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Deliver direct therapy services to students with speech, language, and communication needs
  • Provide consultation and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
  • Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary teams
  • Adapt services to meet diverse student needs across grade levels
