Step into a role where you’ll make a profound impact on students’ lives by supporting the development and delivery of evidence-based behavioral interventions within K-12 settings. This full-time, onsite position offers the unique chance to apply your skills as an ABA-trained professional, working directly with students and staff to create a positive and effective learning environment. The assignment spans the academic year, from August 24, 2026, through June 10, 2027.

Responsibilities include:

  • Training new staff on essential instructional strategies for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Delivering ongoing professional development and refresher courses for returning staff
  • Modeling best practices in autism support classrooms while directly engaging with students
  • Collaborating with teams to develop and refine student Verbal Repertoires (VRs)
  • Organizing and leading building-wide reviews of IEPs, BIPs, and other important documentation
  • Working closely with PaTTAN consultants to align district practices with current standards
  • Providing in-classroom coaching and actionable feedback to ensure high-fidelity implementation of interventions
  • Being available to staff and administrators, especially during the critical start-of-year period
  • Participating in all onsite consultations and ensuring continuity when unavailable
  • Supporting skill transfer from anchor classrooms to additional autism support settings throughout the district

Candidates must possess:

  • Valid Pennsylvania educator certification in Special Education or a closely related field
  • Demonstrated expertise using evidence-based practices for students with ASD
  • Prior experience in school-based autism support or special education roles, preferably in urban districts
  • Ability to secure and maintain all required Pennsylvania state clearances
  • Reliable transportation and flexibility to work on-site between 7:15AM and 4PM, with no schedule accommodations
  • Proven comfort working in an urban educational environment
