We are seeking a candidate who is:
- Licensed as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Ohio
- Experienced or knowledgeable in school-based settings and student development
- Skilled in providing therapeutic services tailored to students’ IEPs and educational goals
- Team oriented, with strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers, families, and support staff
- Open to supervision and ongoing professional development (COTAs will be supervised by an OT as needed)
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting evaluations and assessments to determine students’ needs
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Delivering direct therapy to improve students’ functional, academic, and self-care skills
- Documenting progress, attending meetings, and contributing to IEP development
- Consulting with educators and families to support students’ daily participation and inclusion
