Job Description

Make a difference in the lives of children by providing essential speech and language services in a supportive, school-based setting near Rainier, WA. This full-time, on-site contract position offers the opportunity to work closely with K-12 students and fellow professionals, with a focus on pediatric speech-language therapy. Travel professionals are encouraged to apply and bring their expertise to a welcoming educational environment.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
  • Washington State SLP licensure or willingness to obtain prior to start
  • Experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families to support each student’s growth
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports according to school and state guidelines
  • Contribute to IEP meetings and help set goals for student success
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and participate in school-based initiatives
