Make a real impact supporting students as an English Language Arts (ELA) teacher in a vibrant school environment near Donaldsonville, Louisiana! This contract opportunity offers you the chance to nurture academic growth and guide young minds in their language development within a supportive educational community.

You’ll help shape curriculum, create engaging lesson plans, and foster a positive atmosphere where all students can succeed. The position is set to begin as soon as possible and will continue through late May 2027. This role is fully onsite with a weekly schedule of 37.5 hours, allowing you to engage hands-on with your class and collaborate directly with fellow educators.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active Louisiana Teaching License with appropriate endorsements for General Education and ELA instruction
  • Experience as a General Education Teacher, especially in ELA, strongly preferred
  • Dedication to fostering literacy, writing, and critical thinking in diverse learner populations
  • Collaborative spirit and adaptability to dynamic school environments
  • Commitment to maintaining professional standards and ongoing certification
