Key Qualifications:

• Current teaching license/certification for Louisiana with required ESL and general education endorsements
• Demonstrable experience teaching English Language Arts or general education ELA to K-12 students
• Strong intercultural communication skills and sensitivity
• Proven track record of fostering inclusive, creative, and supportive classroom environments
• Ability to work full-time onsite (37.5 hours/week) throughout the school year

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement differentiated lesson plans aligned to English Language Arts standards for English Learners
• Assess student progress and tailor instruction to meet individual learning needs
• Guide students in cultivating language skills necessary for both academic success and everyday communication
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, administrators, and support personnel to ensure an integrated, holistic learning experience
