Step into an impactful contract OT role supporting K-12 students across multiple school sites in the Lillington, NC area. This opportunity lets you collaborate with a dedicated, close-knit team in a supportive educational environment focused on student progress and professional growth. The assignment runs from November 2, 2026, to May 21, 2027, for a full 37.5-hour workweek.

Qualifications & Experience Needed:

  • Active Occupational Therapist (OT) License in North Carolina
  • Previous experience working in school-based OT settings preferred
  • Comfortable serving K-12 student populations at multiple locations
  • Strong assessment, treatment planning, and communication skills
  • Ability to cultivate positive relationships with students, families, and staff

Responsibilities Include:

  • Delivering occupational therapy assessments, interventions, and consultative services for K-12 students, in accordance with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Developing and implementing therapy plans addressing students’ functional, behavioral, and academic needs
  • Collaborating closely with teachers, special education staff, and parents to support student development
  • Managing documentation for therapy sessions and progress reports
  • Traveling between school sites as required (all within the local district)
  • Participating in IEP meetings and contributing professional insights
