Qualifications:

• Valid Tennessee licensure or eligibility as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
• Previous experience in pediatric or school settings is a plus, but not required
• Dependable transportation and the ability to travel regularly throughout the district
• Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork abilities
• Commitment to supporting diverse student needs and working within multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct physical therapy services to students under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Assist with implementing individualized student treatment plans and therapy objectives

• Maintain clear and accurate documentation in compliance with district standards
• Collaborate effectively with supervising PT, school staff, special education professionals, and other support providers
• Travel to multiple schools across the district as scheduling requires
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) activities and meetings as assigned
