Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in physiotherapy practices, with expertise in patient care. As a vital member of our rehabilitation team, you will assist licensed physical therapists in implementing treatment plans designed to improve mobility, reduce pain, and promote overall wellness. Duties

• Assist licensed physical therapists in developing and executing individualized care plans tailored to patient needs.
• Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions such as trigger point therapy, manual therapy, and modalities aimed at pain relief and functional improvement.
• Monitor patient progress and document responses to treatment accurately in accordance with clinical protocols.
• Educate patients and their families on physiotherapy exercises, mobility techniques, and injury prevention strategies.
• Support discharge planning by preparing patients for transition to home or other care settings through appropriate education and follow-up recommendations.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized treatment environment that adheres to health and safety standards.
• Utilize knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and physiotherapy techniques to optimize treatment effectiveness.

Experience

• Demonstrated proficiency in physiotherapy modalities including trigger point therapy and other manual techniques.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and care plan development is essential.
• Experience working with diverse patient populations such as geriatrics and pediatrics enhances clinical versatility.
• Proven ability to adapt treatment approaches based on patient progress in clinic care environment.
