Certified Nursing Assistant in Hartford, CT

Minimum 1+ years Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) experience and CNA certificate required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A rewarding opportunity is available for a certified professional to provide essential care and support in an educational setting. You will work in a one-to-one capacity, assisting a medically fragile student with daily hygiene and feeding needs throughout the school year.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 7:15 AM – 2:30 PM
• School year duration: August 27th – June 11th

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant or Certified Nurse Assistant) certification required
• Previous experience providing direct care, ideally in a pediatric or academic environment
• Ability to provide compassionate, respectful assistance with personal care and feeding tasks
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with teachers, staff, and families
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and adherence to care protocols
• Preference will be given to female candidates due to the care needs of the student

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver dedicated one-on-one care for a medically fragile high school student during school hours
• Provide assistance with hygiene routines and feeding throughout the day
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and dignified environment
• Communicate regularly with school staff regarding any changes in the student’s needs or health status
• Ensure compliance with all HIPAA, FERPA, and facility protocols
