Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Berrien Springs, Michigan

Experience and Qualifications:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathology license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly valued
• Strong foundation in speech-language pathology assessment and intervention within a school environment
• Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with students, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Organizational skills to manage caseloads, documentation, and student progress

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy services to students, tailoring interventions to meet individual needs
• Coordinate and conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and participate in team meetings
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and related service professionals to support students’ communication development
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with school and district requirements
• Foster a positive, motivating atmosphere that encourages student progress and engagement
